Waste is material / residual material that is not needed, useless, and worthless. Rdf is a technology that can process waste into valuable materials. RDF is the technology of processing inorganic waste such as plastic, paper, cardboard, wood, and textiles into alternative fuels that can produce energy such as electricity or thermal.
RDF has three main stages: sorting, shredding and drying. Waste that has been sorted will be crushed to get a size of 2-10 cm and then dried to reduce its moisture content to below 20% to increase the calorific value so that it can be used as fuel.
The problem with RDF processing is the high cost of production, especially for the drying process, not only that, the drying process is long enough so that the RDF production process is still ineffective. So it is necessary to design waste processing into RDF that can reduce processing time and operational costs.
